Small cabin in the capital of santons (Aubagne - 13400)

This is a self-contained studio of approximately 25 m², featuring a large room with a kitchen and sleeping area, plus a bathroom with a shower and toilet, located in a detached property less than 500m from the town centre of Aubagne. On-site car parking is available. Aubagne, the capital of 'santons' (provençal figurines) and the birthplace of Marcel Pagnol, is situated 18km from Marseille and 12km from Cassis and the Calanques. It is a central starting point for exploring Lower Provence, with its traditions, customs, and iconic landmarks: from the 'Bonne Mère' in Marseille to the Romanesque basilica of St Maximin and the protected Sainte-Baume forest (one of the four main pilgrimage sites in the Middle Ages), via Aix-en-Provence, a city of art and culture. It is also 2 hours from La Crau, the Roman city of Arles, and the Camargue. If arriving by train, you can take advantage of the free local buses: the number 3 will take you from the station to right in front of our home, at the terminus.
