Órgiva is located in the heart of the Middle Alpujarra. Less than an hour from Granada capital and 30 minutes from the Granada coast. It is the largest municipality in the region and has supermarkets, shops and an interesting cultural agenda. It is also known as a mini paradise for those seeking their more spiritual, natural and even hippy side.
An oasis of meeting for people of hundreds of nationalities and projects in search of sustainability, the formation of being and artisanal artistic exploration. A paradise for nature lovers, whether on hiking excursions, by bike or with one of the companies that provide unique horseback riding routes.
Its location allows the exploration of several regions of the Granada province having the base in this place.
The closest airports are Malaga (1.5 hours by car) and Granada (1 hour). There are several buses from Granada, available with the company Alsa (check their website).
