My tenant paid their rent after the due date: when will I get paid?

Rent payment for rentals over 45 days

In the case of a rental over 45 days, your tenant has until the due date to pay their rent online.

If this date is exceeded, they can still pay their rent from the payment schedule on Roomlala.

The difference is simple: they will no longer receive automatic reminders for this specific payment, but will continue to receive rent calls and reminders for subsequent due dates.

When will you get paid? 💸

• If the tenant pays within 48 hours of the due date, the bank transfer is processed 26 hours after the due date.
• If the payment is made more than 48 hours after the due date, you receive the bank transfer upon receipt of payment.

Track the bank transfer status

A confirmation email is sent to you as soon as Roomlala processes the bank transfer.

You can track its progress from your personal area, under “Profile” then “Transactions”.

💡 If you own several properties with due dates on the same day, you will receive one bank transfer per property.

Conditions for receiving your bank transfer

Before any payment is made, please ensure the following details are completed:

• Your bank details in your Roomlala profile (under “Bank details”).
• Your identity verified online.
• Your complete tax information.

Bank transfer processing time

As soon as Roomlala processes the bank transfer, it appears immediately in your bank account.

Roomlala bank transfers are instant bank transfers 🙂

In rare cases (weekend, public holidays, or bank closure), the bank transfer may appear the next day or the day after.

Important to know

Roomlala provides a secure payment system allowing the tenant to pay their rent online and the host to receive the bank transfer as soon as the payment is validated.

⚠️ Roomlala cannot be held responsible for unpaid rent, unless the rent guarantee was activated when you created your listing and the tenant met the required conditions.
