Service fees as a hosting provider

To ensure Roomlala can offer you a reliable and high-quality service, a commission called a service fee is applied to each reservation paid online. It varies between 3% and 4.5% .

These fees include:
- VAT
- Home insurance
- Bank fees
- Roomlala 's remuneration

How are service fees calculated?

Service fees represent 3% to 4.5% of the total amount of your rentals, including any additional costs (cleaning, extra tenants, etc.). The percentage depends in particular on your country of residence , as bank and insurance costs can vary depending on the location.

Example: If your rent is €300 with a 3% service fee, Roomlala deducts €9. You therefore receive €291 .

How can I find out the exact amount of my service fees?

When editing your listing, under "Duration and Rent," Roomlala displays the net amount to be collected right next to your rates. This allows you to easily adjust your prices according to your desired income.

Service fees and Premium Membership

If you are a Premium member , the cost of your Premium Membership will be deducted from your service fees, up to the total value of the Pass. For example, with a €50 Premium Membership , we will deduct up to €50 from your service fees on your next rentals, until this credit is used up.

Examples of operation

- 1st location: if your service fees are €35, they become €0 .
- 2nd rental: if your service fee is €30, it is reduced to €15 , after deduction of the remaining balance (€50 - €35 already used).

After full use of the Premium Membership

Once the Pass has been fully used, Roomlala 's usual commission will resume. The discount will automatically reactivate when you renew your Premium Membership.
