Cancelling a confirmed reservation before arrival: instructions and conditions
How to cancel a reservation
To cancel your reservation, go to your Roomlala account. From the Messaging tab, open the conversation. In the grey box above the conversation, click the "Cancel" button.
Please note: it is impossible to cancel a reservation after your rental period has begun. If you wish to end your stay after arrival, you must contact your host directly.
Cancellation made by the tenant
Refund conditions depend on the cancellation policy chosen by the host at the time of reservation.
Firm cancellation condition
- 30 days or more before arrival: no payment .
- Between 30 days and 2 days before arrival: 30% of the rent is paid to the host.
- Less than 2 days before arrival: full payment of the rent .
Moderate cancellation policy
- 14 days or more before arrival: no payment .
- Between 14 days and 2 days before arrival: 30% of the rent is paid to the host.
- Less than 2 days before arrival: full payment of the rent .
Flexible cancellation policy
- 2 days or more before arrival: no payment .
- Less than 2 days before arrival: full payment of the rent .
Refunds are automatically processed upon cancellation. The time it takes for the funds to appear in your account depends on your bank and can vary between 1 and 3 business days.
For your cancellation to be taken into account, it must be made on Roomlala from the Messaging tab, by clicking on "Cancel" .
Cancellation made by the hosting provider
In the event of cancellation by the accommodation provider, the full amount of the reservation will be refunded to the tenant . The refund will be issued to the payment method used for the reservation.
The refund is initiated as soon as the cancellation is made. Depending on your bank, the processing time may vary between 1 and 3 business days.
