How can I check if the booking is confirmed?

You've just paid for your stay and want to make sure everything is in order? Here's how to quickly check that your booking is confirmed and what signs should reassure you.

1. Check "My Bookings"

The easiest way is to go to the My Bookings section from your Roomlala account. All your requests and bookings are listed there, with their status prominently displayed.

If your stay is confirmed, you'll see "Booking confirmed" next to the relevant accommodation.

2. Understand the different statuses

Depending on the progress of your application, you may see one of the following statuses:

  • Booking confirmed: payment is validated, and the host has confirmed your stay. You don't need to do anything else; your accommodation is waiting for you.
  • Information request accepted: the host has pre-approved your request. You just need to proceed with payment to definitively confirm the booking.
  • Booking request pending: you have paid, and your request is awaiting final validation by the host.
  • Request refused: your request could not be completed. You haven't been charged, and you can contact another host.

You can filter your bookings by status directly in the list to more easily find the one you're interested in.

3. Check the confirmation email

As soon as your booking is confirmed, Roomlala sends you a summary email with the essential information: stay dates, accommodation address, and host contact details. If you have received this email, it's a clear sign that everything is in order.

Remember to check your spam folder if you can't find it. A few days before your arrival, you will also receive a reminder email.

4. Access your booking details

From My Bookings, click on the accommodation's line to open the details of your stay. You will find:

  • The complete summary (dates, price, guests)
  • The history of your exchanges with the host
  • The rental agreement, available once the booking is confirmed
  • For long-term stays: your payment schedule and invoices

5. What to do if the status hasn't changed?

If you have made the payment but your booking is still displayed as "Booking request pending", don't worry: it simply means the host still needs to confirm. You can send them a message directly from the conversation to gently remind them.
