Why and how should I enter my tax information in my personal account?

Am I affected by this regulation?

EU Council Directive 2021/514 (“DAC7”) requires Roomlala to collect and transmit certain tax information. This applies to hosts who receive revenue through the platform.

The DAC7 directive applies if you:

  • are a tax resident of a Member State of the European Union ,
  • or rent accommodation located in the European Union .

In this case, you must enter your tax information in your Roomlala personal account. Otherwise, you will not be able to rent your rooms on the site.

How do I enter my tax information on Roomlala ?

To complete your tax information, follow these steps:

  • Log in to your personal Roomlala account.
  • Go to the "Hosting Area" tab, then click on the Taxation section.
  • Please fill in all the required fields in the form.
  • Click on "Save" .

💸 Roomlala has a legal obligation to collect this information and transmit it to the relevant tax authorities.

If your tax information is not provided, your rent payments will be temporarily blocked until the situation is rectified.
