Why and how to enter my tax information in my personal account?
Updated on 20/01/2026
Am I affected by this regulation?
The EU Council Directive 2021/514 ("DAC7") requires Roomlala to collect and transmit certain tax information. This applies to hosts who earn income through the platform.
The DAC7 directive applies if you:
- are a tax resident of an EU Member State,
- or rent accommodation located in the European Union.
In this case, it is mandatory to provide your tax information in your personal Roomlala account. Without this, you will not be able to rent out your rooms on the site.
How do I provide my tax information on Roomlala?
To complete your tax information, follow these steps:
- Log in to your personal Roomlala account.
- Go to the “Host Space” tab, then click on the Taxation section
- Fill in all the required fields in the form.
- Click on “Save”.
💸 Roomlala has a legal obligation to collect this information and transmit it to the competent tax authorities.
If your tax information is not provided, the payment of your rent will be temporarily blocked until the situation is regularised.
